Ice Skating in Cervinia

Tucked at the bottom of the piste in town, the floodlit ice rink at Lino’s stays open until midnight. Does anything say ‘winter wonderland’ more than skating round in circles under twinkling stars and the gaze of the Matterhorn? The ice rink gets extra points for having Lino’s bar right next door, so you can top off the experience with a hot chocolate or vin brulee.

Visiting Aosta from Cervinia

Located in the heart of the Italian Alps, Aosta is a charming and historic town with plenty of highlights to explore. Discover Zermatt from Cervinia

Taking the time to actually explore Zermatt town can be a real highlight and an opportunity to see the Matterhorn from its more famous side. Its beautiful chocolate box houses, old streets, horse and carts and high-end shops are everything you’d expect from a Swiss alpine town. However, for the first time ever you can get from Cervinia to Zermatt by just taking lifts and without the need to ski. This is a fantastic opportunity if you’re not red-run confident or if you aren’t skiing at all while in Cervinia.

Don’t miss the opportunity to take the Gornergrat train from Zermatt town up the mountain for a truly magical experience.

Visiting the Spa in Cervinia

There’s no better way to relax after a hard day on the mountain than in the serenity of a spa. There isn’t a specific public spa in Cervinia but some of the hotels do allow guests who aren’t staying there to use their spa. The Hotel White Angel and the Hotel Bucaneva are two great options.

Alternatively, if you want a day out of Cervinia then the QC Terme Pré Saint Didier is absolutely stunning. Located at the end of the Aosta valley you can bask in the heated outdoor pools with views of Mont Blanc. Click here to visit their website.

Swimming in Cervinia

There is a public swimming pool located in Valtournenche which is a short 15-minute bus ride from Cervinia. The pool is 25m x 10m with a depth ranging from 120cm to 180cm and is usually set up for lane swimming. Therefore, it isn’t ideal for children who want to play and jump in. It’s also important to note that swimming caps are mandatory for the pool. Further information can be found here.

Take the time to indulge in the finest offerings from the local area with an evening of wine tasting. Paired with specially selected cheeses and meats it’s a very authentic and wholesome experience as you hear the local customs from the sommelier.
