Sauze d'Oulx
Piste Map
Use our interactive piste map above to find your around when you’re skiing or snowboarding in Sauze d’Oulx. This piste map is for the whole Via Lattea / Milky Way ski area including Sauze d’Oulx, Sestriere, San Sicario, Claviere and Montgenèvre,
If you come to Sauze d’Oulx, you’re getting more than just a winter holiday in one ski resort. Buy a lift pass in Sauze, and you can access around 400km of pistes and all five ski areas of the Via Lattea / Milky Way – Sauze, Sestriere, San Sicario, Claviere all the way to the French resort of Montgnèvre.
Each area has its own, distinctive character. Sauze boasts great tree-lined skiing and some beautiful, wide runs into ‘The Bowl’, and the boardercross will keep the teenagers (and the big kids) entertained. Pop over to Sestriere and you can expect wide, cruisy blues and plenty of long, quiet runs from the summit all the way back to town. Claviere is a hidden gem, that offers more experienced skiers and boarders some really nice off piste, while just a couple of lifts further gets you into France and Montgenevre, where snow conditions are usually that little bit better than the rest of the area. Finally, there’s San Sicario and some of the best red runs in the Via Lattea. You can easily spend a whole afternoon lapping the lifts in San Sicario, but be aware: you can only get out and back to Sauze on a long, narrow drag lift. So, maybe don’t take the beginner snowboarders there on your first day.
Sauze d’Oulx has enough variety for skiers and snowboarders of any level to have a great winter holiday, that won’t break the bank.
